How Often Do Signalmap Predictions Update?
Signalmap isn't a static report. It's a live model. Here's how frequently things update and what triggers changes.
Signal Score Updates
Frequency: Twice weekly (Tuesday and Friday)
What changes: Raw score values, category-level breakdowns, trend direction
Prediction Updates
Frequency: Weekly, or triggered by significant signal movement
What changes: Confidence scores (up or down based on new hiring data), timeline estimates, supporting evidence
A prediction can increase or decrease in confidence based on new data. If hiring cools significantly, we lower confidence. If new categories join an existing signal, we raise it.
New Predictions
Frequency: 2-5 new predictions added per week on average, more during high-signal periods
What triggers a new prediction: Signal crosses our 4-gate filter (see our methodology post)
Resolved Predictions
When resolved: Within 48 hours of a verifiable public announcement
How resolved: Correct, Incorrect, or Pending (for timelines that haven't passed yet)
Weekly Brief
Every Friday, Pro subscribers receive a weekly brief summarizing all score changes, new predictions, and resolved predictions from that week.
