How to Spot Exchange Announcements on LinkedIn
LinkedIn is where most exchange hiring signals first appear. Here is how to find them yourself.
The Search Method
Go to LinkedIn Jobs. Search "[Exchange name] [department]". For example: "OKX product manager" or "Coinbase compliance Europe". Set filters: posted in last 30 days, full-time. Track count weekly.
What to Look For
Volume change: If "OKX product manager" goes from 12 results to 45 in 4 weeks, something changed.
Specific language: Job descriptions mentioning "Layer 2", "MiCA", "VASP", "IPO" or specific technical stacks reveal the strategic intent.
Seniority signals: Director/VP level hires in a new department signal strategic commitment, not backfill.
The Limitations of Manual LinkedIn Tracking
LinkedIn shows a subset of total roles. Many exchanges use Greenhouse or other ATS platforms where roles do not appear on LinkedIn. Role counts are often underrepresented by 30–50%.
Why We Built Signalmap
We aggregate across LinkedIn + all major ATS platforms + direct exchange career pages. Our role counts are 40–60% higher than LinkedIn-only searches. The signal quality is correspondingly better.
